Tigers become a Member of the SuperElite

The Detroit Tigers have just become a member of a very prestigious club: The SuperElite. This a faction shared only by MLB's fashionista clubs: The New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, LAA Angels. Watch out MLB the Tigers have circled near elite status for a year or so, but this off-season they swooped and landed smack in the middle of the SuperElite. Welcome Detroit to your remarkable territory. In an economy like Detroit, it is great for a team located in the city to pull off the unbelievable. Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis for the Kid and the Arm plus 3 prospects and Rabelo, excellent move Mr. Dombrowski. This solidifies are lineup and strengthens are rotation. A move like this is made when ownership cares, when they want to win a championship. The team across the street should take note.

Mike Illitch is the by the far the best owner in all of sports. No only has he taken the Wings to levels never seen before and kept it consistent for more than a decade is remarkable. He has finally translated that success to his baseball club. He found management that can do what its supposed to: manage, scout, draft, listen and move. He gives his input, Miguel Cabrera, and is willing to take the money he made this past year and reinvest it. It shows that he want to win and will do it at any cost. The Tigers were a laughing stock three years ago. Today they are seeked and looked upon. They are coveted. Mike Illitch made it all happen. He cares for his players, his people, and his fans.

William Clay Ford: Please sell your team to Mr. Illitch. I beg you.
